Networking & Control: luxData.control

Your control. In your asset management.

Integrate existing systems. Instead of replacing.

Do you already control your lighting with a system like eSave or Interact? luxData.control retrieves status data, scheduling times, and control commands via API and integrates them into your facility management system—one central workstation instead of many isolated systems.

luxData.control

The Integration Solution at a Glance:

Keep the existing control system Investments Remain Protected
eSave, Interact, and others Integration via an open API
Taxes from luxData.pro & luxData.easy switch, dim, monitor
Multiple systems running in parallel One interface for everything
The Starting Point

It is being controlled.
But on an island.

Many municipalities and municipal utilities already have a control system in place—often even several. The problem is rarely the control system itself, but rather that it operates separately from plant management. As a result, data and processes remain isolated.

Control and plant management run on separate systems—resulting in duplicate maintenance
Status messages from the control system are not automatically forwarded to the maintenance department
Scheduling times and dimming profiles not linked to system and maintenance data
If there are multiple control systems: multiple interfaces, multiple logins
How It Works

One API. One workplace.

luxData.control connects your control systems to plant management. Commands are sent out, and status updates and fault messages are sent back.

Your Asset Management

Switching & Dimming

Turn on and dim individual lights or entire groups directly from the system management interface.

Shift Times & Profiles

The switching times and dimming profiles stored in luxData are transmitted to the controllers at the lighting fixtures.

Status & Issues

Status data from the control system is fed back into the plant management system. Faults are routed directly into the maintenance process.

Automatic Actions

The Action Manager responds to sensor readings and alarms. This happens automatically, according to your rules.

luxData.control or luxData.connect?

luxData.control integrates your existing control systems into asset management. If, instead, you want your own control system—vendor-neutral, without a third-party cloud, and even without asset management at all—luxData.connect is the way to go. No need to choose: Both can be combined, such as using your own control system for new facilities and integrating existing ones.

A Comparison of Two Approaches

We'll work with you to determine how your existing systems can be integrated—with no obligation and based on your specific setup.
