luxData.licht

FOR INNOVATIVE LIGHT MANAGEMENT

luxData.licht
is a management-information system that has grown from many years of experience gained in the field of municipal street lighting. The system is a solution that, for example, delivers efficient support for repairs, maintenance, invoicing, documentation and many other relevant tasks. luxData.licht has not only been designed to help municipalities manage their street lighting, it has also been conceived to help large companies and industrial estates deal with their outdoor lighting tasks.

The mapping of all data that is relevant to your street lighting. Irrespective of lamps, fixtures, basins, arms, cables, masts, ballasts, etc. You will, for instance, be able to find out at the touch of a button which lighting unit contains which lamp, which lighting units are supplied from which cabinets, and so on.

Image and document archive:
For storing images in all the usual formats and assigning documents (also in any format). You may assign accident reports, logs, etc. to any system. It also goes without saying that it's possible to archive files in the CAD formats of DWG, DXTM, DWF and SKD.

Evaluation charts, management reports, analysis reports and statistics:
Reports constitute the basis of any analysis of corporate activities. They are used to display and printout drawings, plans, photo documentation for technical systems, complicated mast situations and overgrown lamps. All reports may be saved and exported as Word, PDF, image, text files.

Integrated report designer:
Besides standard reports, users may also prepare their own reports or modify existing ones at any time. Reports may be prepared as pure text or with elaborate colourful diagrams. This means that only little support and update work is required. Users may make changes at any time without the need to wait for updates.

Query and selection tool:
The query generator enables users to create queries from any data field or form without the need for specific data-processing, database-structure or database-languages skills (e.g. SQL).

Statistics, totals, quantities, ... :
Users may use the analysis tools from any field of any form. What type of lamp is used how often? Just a click of the mouse in luxData®!

Statistik,Summe,Anzahl

A GIS component (MiniGIS) that has been significantly extended has been included with the software since luxData® Version 2.6.0. Handling has also been adapted to practical requirements. So that it's now possible to launch many basic functions from MiniGIS.
Tree view for highlighted systems that have not been assigned:
Display highlighted systems in a tree view. This will enable users to recognise the structure of each highlighted system at a glance. Systems that have not been assigned will be saved in a separate tree view for further assignment.

luxData.licht_GIS

Systems in their correct positions on maps:
Users may use the drag-and-drop feature to position systems from a pool in the map. The map position's GIS coordinates for the respective systems will also be stored with the master data.

luxData.licht_Anlage verschieben1

Link systems to coordinates:
Users may link systems to map positions highlighted with their GIS coordinates. The map position's GIS coordinates for the respective systems will also be stored with the master data.

GIS statistics:
Creating GIS statistics The distribution of the different types of lamp fixtures in the area being processed may be displayed with, for example, different colour codes.

Mini GIS_GIS Statistik

Creating processes and defects:
Users may create processes and record defects from the map or tree view.

Opening master-data forms:
The corresponding master data forms with the relevant data records may be opened both from the map and the tree view. The tree view also permits forms for the individual components to be opened.

Measurement archive: Archive of measurements for switching points and circuits. Users may use this function to map the regular electric measurements and carry out the appropriate checks on wire gearing and switch cabinets as required by EN, DIN, VDE, etc.

Power supply contracts:
It's also possible to create different power supply contracts and use them as the basis for invoicing.

Switching programs:
It's also possible for users to create their own switching programs using the daylight calendar or other values as the basis for correct energy billing.

Billing regulations:
Billing regulations may also be created and used for energy accounting based on power consumption and the resulting costs and for calculating the accumulated usage by respective cost centres.

luxData.licht_Schaltprogramm

Energy billing:
Flexible energy billing based on the relevant energy contracts and on separately defined input parameters.

Project management: Creation, execution, monitoring of projects to provide support for the daily tasks that arise in conjunction with street lighting. Here, it's possible to assign projects to specific systems and to budget resources.
Defect reports:
The Internet portal (see stoerung24.de) makes it possible to map all the relevant data and enable municipalities, towns and cities as well as residents and others to report defects over the Internet. This access may be protected by authentication.
Maintenance regulations:
These allow uses to plan a significant part of the required maintenance work, which may also be copied for other systems.
 Job-oriented maintenance:
This allows projects, tasks, jobs, processes with components and defects with a variety of causes to be recorded and processed. It enables users to plan and complete all the required street lighting work very quickly.

Form designer: luxData®allows almost any form to be switched to "Design Mode" while the program is running. This means that all control elements and their properties may be comfortably adapted to the individual company requirements (e.g. showing/concealing unnecessary fields, write protection for specific areas, font-colour editing, etc.). The settings made in the form designer may be saved in the database and used by individual users or entire user groups. Thus allowing security settings to be implemented right down to field level.

Forms:
Auto-scaling forms in which the control elements automatically adapt to window sizes.

GIS interface:
GIS interfaces to all the commonly used GIS systems may be provided and modified at the customer's request.
SAP interface:
We're able to provide intelligent interfaces for material master data and job processing to users of the standard SAP R/3 software.
Interface to Microsoft Office products: Such interfaces permit the display and further editing at the touch of a button of data quantities, selections, reports and so on in popular office products (e.g. Word and Excel).

History:
Continuous historical logging allows the condition of systems to be reconstructed back to the time when they were built or when the data was input for the first time.
Users/user groups:
The flexible user-filter settings at data level make it easy to create groups and users and define user rights. Here, it's possible, for instance, to create filters for specific data alongside general rights, which allows data to be restricted to certain locations and individual fields to be enabled or disabled.

luxData.licht_Benutzerverwaltung
Flexible location structure:
Location structures may be defined on a customer basis. This allows the program to be adapted to customer requirements... which demonstrates how flexible the program is. Problems related to fixed hierarchies (e.g. town or city, region, district, location) therefore no longer occur.
Localisation:
The system's language may be changed at the touch of a button without any negative impact on the running system.
